It is a well known fact that there are Catholic Saints for each day of the year. Different saints are associated to each day of March, too. The history, facts and life events linked of all of these saints are different, interesting and admirable, as well. Actually, all these individuals led the lives of saints to receive such a gratitude from the Catholic Church.
March is considered to be the Month of St. Joseph. Saint Joseph is the husband of Mary, the mother of Jesus. Together with the Blessed Virgin Mary and the Child Jesus, St. Joseph is considered to be a member of the Holy Family. In 1870, Saint Joseph was proclaimed the patron of the Universal Church by Pope Pius IX. March 19 is Saint Joseph’s Day, but since this is one of the most important Saints in Western Christianity, the entire month of March is considered to be the month of Saint Joseph.
